New Zealand born Michael Wayne Plant has lived in Australia, United Kingdom, Greece, America, Italy, and France. He has been a photographer since 1988 working in different genres, which have all influenced his style and development as an artist. Through his work as a fashion photographer he developed an interest in identities, which he is continuing to develop since initial explorations while completing his MA in Photography and Urban Cultures at Goldsmiths College, University of London. His current work explores identities and the social landscape using a documentary style of photography.
