Low pay in Photojournalism

Do not become a photojournalist if you want to earn lots of money. this add for a course gives an idea of what the college thinks a photojournalist will earn coming out of this course.

Scary really, as the average wage in the Uk is closer to £25-000 per year and this would definitely put you below average and you would only need a client or two not to pay for some reason and you would be on minimum wage.

I am told it is a good course in photojournalism.

I would however recommend it if you want to find out about the world, to tell stories about what you see. It is a rewarding life as it will show you so much and give you access to a lot of things that would not normally be possible  because you are part of the press.
