Learning Photography at Idea Store Learning with Michael Wayne Plant.

As you might know I work as the Lead Photography Lecturer at Idea Store Learning and this September we have a while new selection of photography courses starting on the 22nd of September 2014.

I am personally teaching on three courses this year that I would like to interest potential photography students in. They are Develop a Photography Project (Monday nights), Studio Photographic Practice (Tuesday Nights) and City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Photography (on Wednesday nights).

These courses are interesting as they address different aspects of photography.

On the Project course we had a great year last year exploring different areas of photography and making projects. It was a highly interesting course lead by what students needed to cover with lots of critique of images.

On the new Studio Photographic Practice course we will concentrate on making images for students portfolios while working in the photographic studio.

The level 3 Certificate in Photography I did not teach last year, however it is returning to the Shadwell Centre as a year long course exploring photography practice and making two projects that will let anyone who is on the course develop their photography to a very high level.
